See Rainbow Street 360 Degrees!

 If you say to anyone you are traveling to Jordan and visiting Amman, the first thing they will tell you is; you have to hit Rainbow Street!! I would give the same advice too!

 Amman was a very small town when it first was established & Jabal -Amman where Rainbow Street resides was a classy neighborhood catering for the taste and comfort of the crème de la crème like the French say, including royalty, politicians, affluent families, and so on.

All that is evident as you walk through the tranquil streets around Rainbow Street where you can still see many beautiful old houses dating back to the 20’s & 30’s.Like the Al Qasim House ,The Biet Shuker house & The King Talal house to name a few.

 But do not think for a moment that the charm of this neighborhood ends only with its history! Its narrow streets  are filled with shops and libraries to be explored, and the squares & stairs are waiting for you at the sunset. There are many café ,bars & restaurants , try Shawirma Al Hanayin for a yummy quick bite  and don't forget to check out “MLABAS” a fab concept T-Shirt shop, where you’ll find many, many things that perhaps you will never use, but they will certainly make you feel incredibly cool, Jordanian style!
